The YOUNG ONCE heeds to the young ones with their oldies but goodies songs. We joined the press conference of Net25TV's newest show "Young Once Upon A Time" to start airing on Aug26 at 8pm with hosts Anthony Castelo, Darius Razon and Eva Vivar. Hoping to revive the music of the 60s, 70s and the 80s featuring homegrown hitmakers of their time, Net25TV program manager shared the advocacy to help Filipino OPM legends who have missed the spotlight in years.
Simulcast on Eagle Broadcasting Network's PINAS FM, Young Once will feature stellar line-up of OPM legends like Pilita Corrales, Mike Hanopol, Heber Bartolome, Jun Polistico, Noel Cabangon, Claire Dela Fuente, Imelda Papin, Eva Eugenio, Pinky Marquez, Malu Barry, Cynthia Garcia, Lolita Carbon of ASIN, Coritha, Bayang Barrios, Marco Sison, Chad Borja, Richard Reynoso, Boyfriends' Joey Abando, Alon, Renz Verano, Zander Khan and the 60s and 70s idols, Perla Adea, Romy Mallari, Tessie Lagman, Dolly Favorito, Raquel Monteza, Danny Cruz, Efren Montes, Mabuhay Singers and Victor Wood.
When asked of they will open for collab with new singers, Darius Razon said that the new show will also develop collaboration upon interests of the viewers. Those are just guests of Season 1. The show they said will show pics and narration of the OPM legends' history and their present whereabouts.
Efren Montes we've seen perform during the taping sang his classic hit Kiss Me Kiss Me which Sarah Geronimo also sang in her new movie Miss Granny. He's also supoort watching the film set to show in cinemas on Aug22.
