#ToFarmFilmFest2017 to kick off with 1975 classic film Banawe on #OpeningNight July 11, takes pride in its 6 film-finalists

Harvesting talents to push advocacy for farmers is #ToFarmFilmFestival2017 kicking off on July 11 at Novotel Hotel, Ballroom 2 and 3 and will feature its six finalists to this year's competition adherinh to the theme - "Planting The Seeds of Change. The six to compete are: Victor Acedillo Jr's 'Kamunggai', Topel Lee's 'Baklad', Byron Bryant's 'Sinandomeng', Joseph Abello's 'What Home Feels Like' , Jason Paul Laxamana's 'Instalado' and Tara Illenberger's 'High Tide'.


To inspire more avid film-goers, the festival will screen 1975 Gerry De Leon's award-winning film "Banawe: Stairway to the Sky" starring Nora Aunor and Christopher De Leon with Johnny Delgado and Ronaldo Valdez about an Ifugao's tribe's quest for the promised land.
