Event: Marion the Princess of Movie Theme Songs sings for Bahay Aruga in #Pumapagibig Concert with Michael Pangilinan

She is the voice behind the sexy song "How Can I" in the love scene of Gerald Anderson and Arci Munoz in Star Cinema's blockbuster "Always Be My Maybe". Marion had sung a variety of movie theme songs earning the title, Princess of Movie Theme Songs. After the hit song Pumapagibig from Himig Handog P-Pop Competition, Marion took the next level performing with Harana Prince Michael Pangilinan at Zirkoh Morato last Sunday for the benefit of Bahay Aruga.
We met Marion before the concert to delve deeper into her plans and passion in music. From her unsung efforts in college to introducing her new advocacy, Bahay Aruga ( an NGO supporting cancer patients), Marion expressed her big heart to help the needy. Stepping away from the last name which somehow giving her pressure to keep up in her status in showbiz, Marion is set to release a different genre of music to eventually reach more audience and further help the foundation.
Just like the confidence she exuded onstage singing in bed, Marion shared her brevity to explore new range of music. She will soon promote her songs and her new album to the provinces. Marion sung a classic favorite from Grease "You're The One That I Want" with Michael Pangilinan to start the show. I loved it when Michael entertained us all with his constant response to fans' asking for selfies.
Michael is ready to mount his own comedy show with what he showed us last Sunday. Michael Pangilinan was a complete package of looks, voice and talent to whip a show anytime. Marion's younger sister Ashley also sang in the concert with such sass. The sisters proved how diction, talent and definitely, class define a true showbiz personality. I loved how Marion sang my fave OST from Always Be My Maybe, Free Fall Into Love and How Can I. I want to witnesd how fans from the provinces will patronize the songs of Marion. Michael and Marion was a perfect duo to explore. I want to watch them sing other classics and more duets.
