Event: Gerald Anderson celebrates 10 years in showbiz and birthday opening his own foundation, #TrainDogsSaveLives on March 7

Gerald Anderson takes a step forward in saving lives today. After the blockbuster movie from Star Cinema, Always Be My Maybe (grossing 20M on its first week and still showing) with Arci Munoz, Gerald Anderson has his hands full of more projects and a foundation of his own training dogs to rescue and save lives. Blogger friends and I joined StarMagic's hearthrob Gerald Anderson in a fun afternoon today reminiscing his ten years in show business and his new project The Gerald Anderson Foundation
Being inspired by his own experience breaking the internet with photos of him helping people during the Ondoy and Yolanda typhoons onslaught, Gerald thought of organizing friends and fans to help using his pure love for dogs. Aiming to raise awareness on rescue operations by helping train dogs, his family and friends helped build The Gerald Anderson Foundation. Now more inspired by the acceptance speech of 2016 Oscars Best Actor Leonardo DiCaprio on climate change, he enjoins the rest of his friends to the foundation starting with a benefit dinner on his birthday on March 7 at La Reve Events Venue in QC. The handsome PBB fave from Gensan who wowed all of us in Budoy and On The Job is now inviting to help save lives by training dogs. Also celebrating his 26th birthday on March 7, he hopes to continue inspiring fellow Filipinos to rescue fellow neighbors.
Saddened by Direk Wenn Deramas' sudden death who was his neighbor, he emphasized the significance of saving lives. Gerald also intends to provide educational programs to private and government agencies to better understand the capabilities of search dogs in rescue operations through his foundation. Like us, he wants to prepare for The Big One and I really hope the schools will help by participating in his awareness campaigns. Even the askals (stray dogs) can be trained according to him. It is time for everyone to prepare because we never really know when The Big One will happen. Join him on March 7 at La Reve Events Venue.
