I've always been a willing victim and that DTR(Define The Relationship) dilemma also happened to me before. I guess we've all been victims and yet, still believing in love against the odds. It was a fun bloggers conference of Star Cinema's post-Valentine movie Always Be My Maybe last Saturday. With the lead stars Gerald Anderson and Arci Munoz, the blockbuster director Dan Villegas and writers Patrick R. Valencia, Pertee Brinas and Jancy Nicolas, fellow bloggers were given a chance to discuss how the film came about.
Gerald met Arci Munoz for the first time in the movie and the two shared how they have both contributed to make the film work which they attribute to Cacai Bautista. Said to be the MMK of Cacai whom Gerald say had too many "hugot", the romance comedy Always Be My Maybe will become everyone's relatable love story. Writers Jancy, Pertee and Patrick said they have once become a victim like Arci while Gerald shrugged it all off and kept mum with giggles saying he never had a "maybe" because he was always certain about his relationships. It is those lines and labels that we all adopt in real life that makes the story truly interesting and with the type of modern relationships the youth of today follow, Always Be My Maybe is a depiction of reality relevant to many of us today.
Arci playing Tintin said the character resembles her personality but more of Cacai who is also starring in the film. We can't help but crack in laughter at Arci who have become more confident than our previous interviews. Gerald playing Jake according to Arci is just too irresistible (on the love scenes in the film). I want to know what will bring Jake (Gerald) and Tintin (Arci) together and what particular lines were drawn in the beach scene.
Always Be My Maybe is one exciting love story we will not miss on Feb24. The movie also stars Nikki Valdez, Cacai Bautista, Carlo Aquino, Jane Oineza, TJ Trinidad, Matt Evans and Tirso Cruz III.
