Review: On arranged marriage and premarital sex in #YourPlaceOrMine

We all have stories of arranged marriages and we pity those who marry for convenience and not for love. I've watched the premiere of Viva Films' Your Place Or Mine starring Andi Eigenmann and Brett Jackson last week with fellow bloggers at SM Megamall. The steamy love scenes in the beginning reminded me of the realities of the youth today getting drunk and getting into premarital sex. The plot thickened when the main character Hailey(Andi) realized she needed to follow her mother's wish to marry a guy she never met. Written by Turning Japanese from the famous Wattpad series and directed by Joel Lamangan, the conflict turns to a milieu of circumstances when the two met and realized the brother Ralph Sandoval played by Cosmo Hunk Gerard stepped in the picture. Other stars imclude Donnalyn Bartolome, Anja Aguilar, Ashley Rivera aka Petra Mahalimuyak, Imee Hart, Gerard Garcia Jovic Monsod and Clint Bondad. The movie reminded me of Sharon Cuneta's To Love Again with Miguel Rodriguez sans the sex and the girlfriends. Your Place Or Mine is now showing at selected theaters nationwide. For more information visit and follow Viva's social media sites @viva_films on Twitter and @viva_ent on Instagram.
