Starting February 4, 2015 everybody will now learn where broken hearts go with Star Cinema's newest romance comedy "That Thing Called Tadhana" by acclaimed director Antoinette Jadaone. One of the official entries of the 10th Cinema One Originals Film Festival last November 2014 where lead star Angelica Panganiban won Best Actress by Gawad Tanglaw, "That Thing Called Tadhana" faced the press yesterday at 9501 Restaurant, ABS-CBN.
From the same director of 2014's Beauty in a Bottle and Relaks It's Just Pag-ibig, "That Thing Called Tadhana is a romantic comedy about two broken-hearted individuals Mace (Angelica) and Anthony (JM) who met in an airport in Europe by serendipity and develop an unlikely relationship after exploring Manila, Baguio and Sagada. Some of my blogger friends have seen the film from the press preview and all of them were all praises for the film. When asked how they managed to deal with their broken hearts in the past, Angelica said she went to Australia and JM went simply to Baclaran. It was hilarious listening to both of them especially Angelica who has completely forgotten the name of the song that she once loved to hear during those broken-heart moments.
Direk Antoinette Jadaone was commending the performance of Angelica in the film and shared how the chemistry with JM became instant from the first scenes. What sets Direk Antoinette Jadaone's films apart from the rest is the dialogues and the expressions that's truly relatable to the Filipino youth of today. I will surely not miss watching this film released by Star Cinema starting February 4 at all cinemas nationwide.
