Celebrating its centenary this year is St. Therese of Avila and for the many youth of today who knows nothing about this significant icon of faith, best to watch #OhMyG starting January 19 before Its Showtime on ABS-CBN. I joined fellow bloggers at the grand press conference of Oh My G at 9501 Restaurant ELJ Bldg., ABS-CBN Compound last Tuesday. From the makers of Be Careful With My Heart comes this newest feel-good drama perfect to get teenagers learn life lessons in Oh My G. Starring Janella Salvador (as Sophie Cepeda) with Marlo Mortel, Manolo Pedrosa, Sunshine Cruz, Dominic Ochoa, John Arcilla, Edgar Allan Guzman and Janice de Belen (who looked too thin by the way), Eric Quizon and Maricar Reyes, Oh My G will narrate the journey of an orphaned teenager directed by Roni Velasco.
Not intending to be preachy, the staff and writers shared to the media the similar travails of a teenager which St. Therese of Avila also experienced when she was young. Janella was excited and honored to play Sophie paying tribute to the saint who's celebrating its centenary this year. Janice de Belen said she was more online not noticing how the young cast was active on social media. Oh My G is about inspiration, lessons and values the kids of today should watch especially teens preoccupied with school, family and social media. My students will definitely learn to deal with their own issues relating to Sophie (Janella) starting January 19, 2015. Will Sophie be like St. Therese of Avila? Let's all watch Oh My G starting January 19 before It's Showtime on ABS-CBN Prime-Tanghali. For more information, please visit www.abs-cbn.com or follow @abscbndotcom on Twitter for more updates.
