If I Could Turn Back Time. I wish I could turn back time and I could find a way..these lines were just reminiscent of my own reflections joining the press preview of Pioneer Films and SM Cinema's Walking On Sunshine at the Directors' Club Cinema in SM Megamall last Tuesday. Sitting in new comfortable LaZboy Chairs at the Directors' Club Cinema in SM Megamall watching the musical movie "Walking On Sunshine" set in the beautiful coastal village in present-day Italy starring Annabel Scholey, Giulio Berruti, Hannah Arterton, and British singing sensation Leona Lewis directed by Max Giwa and Dania Pasquini. This movie produced by Vertigo Films' James Richardson took me back to the 80s with songs "Walking on Sunshine", "How Will I Know", "It Must Have Been Love", "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", "Holiday", "The Power Of Love", "Eternal Flame", "If I Could Turn Back Time", "Venus", "Don't You Want Me", "Wild Boys", "Faith", "White Wedding", and "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go". I loved the beautiful colors of Italy, the backdrop that set the romantic mood and the story which was neither too sexy nor too deep. It was a clean summer love story with sisters loving the same man they met in Italy. My most favorite scene was the Tomato Festival where Taylor reignites love with Raf who is about to wed his elder sister Maddie. The movie gave me ideas what to suggest as a musicale adaptation for school presentations and the theater with comfy LaZboy Chairs and convenient drinks and food holders gave me ideas where to relax and better enjoy the movies.
