Event: Indulge in #ChocoFestNewport @MegaworldLifestyleMalls' #ChocolateFestival on Sept. 19-30, 2014!

We all find chocolates as the best solution to every woe. Available until Sept. 30, Newport Mall at Resorts World Manila hoisted a sweet celebration of Resort World Manila's 5th anniversary with a grand Chocolate Festival. Participating food establishments have created their own chocolate dish masterpieces to delight the senses of all chocoholics. Upon entrance at the Newport Mall, guests will be greeted by famous personalities in chocolate sculptures. It was surprising to notice The King of Comedy, Dolphy and Gargoyle, the Monster perfect for Halloween.
At the Plaza, it was a big drop of my jaw witnessing the Chocolate Market selling everything made of chocolates from other parts of the country and abroad. Bask at the mob gazing at the One Minute Chocolate Cake personalized to every customer for only Php120++. Bruges, Valor, Bruges, Chocolate World of Cafe Maxims, Villa Del Conte, Malagos Chocolates, Cold Stone Creamery, Magnavision, Taste N See, Picola Ice Pops, The Food Bin, Unit 16 Sweets, Chokoa, Bronuts, Eenie Meenie Cupcakes, Cukay's Cupcakes and Mio Gelati. Onlookers and mall-goers witnessed also participating chefs' chocolate sculptures demo inspired by Walking Dead perfect for the coming Halloween celebrations.
We had a taste of popular cuisines with a chocolate twist like Chocolate Maki Roll by Ginzadon, Prosperity Court's Pizza Alla Ganduja, a dessert pizza with hazelnut spread and showered with Belgian chocolates, hazelnuts and tropical nut and Tempura ice Cream and White Choco Wasabi by the Genting Club. It was also unforgettable that we closed our eyes savoring Divine Souffle Trilogy, a special dessert composed of three different chocolates prepared by Impressions, the sinful Chocolate Truffle Surprise Cake by Red Crab Alimango House, Choco Lava by Marriott Cafe, Chocolate Bun by Cafe Maxims and Double Chocolate Roll Cake by Remington Bar.
There were also those chocolovers' delightful Chocolate Truffle Buchi by Johnny Chow, Deep Fried Choco Buchi by Passion Restaurant and Crisostomo's Iday, a suman dipped in chocolate fondue. Heavenly chocolate cocktails and concoctions are also ready to treat the chocoholics at Bar 180, The Terrace, Bar 360, TWG Tea, Passion, Genting Club, Johnny Chow, Marriot Cafe and more. Wait, there's more! Popular chocolate-themed movies will also be shown at the venue from Sept. 20-28 from 7pm to 9pm giving shoppers more doses of chocolate goodness.
I couldn't forget that Chocolate Maki Roll by Ginzadon and those nibbles from Villa Del Conte and Bruges. There's always a chocoholic's gem at the #ChocoFestNewport to leave you wanting for more. What's best about this sinful chocolate indulgence is that they have sugar-free chocolates and treats for those watching their sugar intake.
I'll fervently hope to meet my destiny but of course, there's always simply chocolates - the answer to all my needs. I can't wait to get more of those 3 for 100 chocolate bars with love messages from Unit 16 Sweets and Chokoa. Chocolate World of Cafe Maxims also has a chocolate cake called "Mary Jane". I wonder what that tastes like. Let's all wonder in chocolate joys and indulge at Newport Mall's Chocolate Festival (available only until Sept. 30). Happy 5th anniversary Resorts World Manila!
