Event: Roel Manlangit wins Php2 million #PGT4GrandWinner

The 14 year-old YouTube sensation from Valencia Bukidnon Roel Manlangit was hailed ABS-CBN'Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4 Grand Winner last Sunday at the Pagcor Grand Theater and Casino. The netizens may have reacted against the decision but realizing the culprit of the results will leave you in awe. Roel sang the same song that brought him millions of hits on YouTube keeping the dream alive immortalizing Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" during the performance night.
ABS-CBN's Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4 Grand Finals (announcement night) started with a bang with Comedy Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas dancing and singing to Rihanna's "Where Have You Been" setting the energy to the roof in her sexy outfit.
Jaw-dropping performances came next as Zsa Zsa Padilla sang with Roel Manlangit, Zia Quizon with Frankendal Fabroa and KZ Tandingan with the MP3 Band, Lateral Drift Productions, Zilent Overload and D'Intensity Breakers with StreetBoys King of Sample Jhong Hilario.
Previous grand winners Maasinhon Trio, Marcelito Pomoy and Jovit Baldivino also performed before the announcement of the PGT4 grand winner. The hosts Luis Manzano and Billy Jaw Crawford finally announced who will be the top three getting the highest text votes. It was then that I've realized the power of the regional text votes. Roel Manlangit deserves the title seeing the infinite potential he has as a singer in the Philippine music industry. Although too many in my timeline had expressed disappointment, some have also expressed their happiness with the results. I have voted like the others for D'Intensity Breakers for its ultimate heart-stopping performance of acrobatic acts and dance but having Roel Manlangit win the title of grand winner is not bad at all. We need to make more of the street children believe that there is hope beyond the rubble and the poverty. WE have to make the youth believe in their dreams and Roel Manlangit should set that dream for the other street children who may have been abandoned, underprivileged and neglected. Hats off to Pilipinas Got Talent for believing in the dream! Thank you very much ABS-CBN for the opportunity to witness the grand finals performance and announcement night last weekend.
