The 36th Gawad Urian formed by the oldest film critics group in the country the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino in partnership with Cinema One aims to recognize the progressive filmmaking as well as the emerging cinema talents. It was my first time watching an awards night live and although my favorite artists did not win I was overwhelmed with joy witnessing how artists and celebrities show excitement and joy receiving their trophies. Now I have more reasons to watch some of the movies nominated I've missed. Don't miss the telecast at Cinema One tomorrow June 22 at 3:00pm and 11:00pm and on June 23 at 10:00pm and June 25 at 7:00pm. For more information and updates, please visit http://www.manunuri.com/.
