Event: Marvin Agustin is Knorr's Celebrity Chef Endorser

Marvin Agustin and Knorr will make you love cooking this Christmas. Ernst and Young's 2012 Young Entrepreneur of the Year, actor, chef, restaurateur and host Marvin Agustin renewed contract with industry leader Knorr Philippines as its Celebrity Chef endorser last week at Whitehouse, Patio Carlito Restaurant in Quezon City.
I have always cooked with Knorr cubes and have always patronized using Knorr Sinigang Mix as it's proven to be the tastiest and most sour mix to use for any type of Sinigang. With Celebrity Chef Marvin Agustin's Door-to-Door challenge last year, hoping that one day, he'd visit my house to surprise me, I've always stocked up a lot of those cubes in the ref. At noon, when the guests arrived, everyone anticipated Marvin's presence and we found out later that he was the man behind the kitchen preparing the lunch for all the members of the press.
With minimal use of pork and other types of meat, Marvin was able to serve dishes that made the members of the press ecstatic about Knorr products. Using sigarilyas in Gising-Gising with Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix was my unforgettable dish along with grilled squid with veggies, fish and fried vegetable lumpia. It was worth the wait because lunch brought the oohs and aahhs satisfied with the food hey have taken from the buffet table. Knorr makes every dish truly exciting for every Filipino.
Hosted by Divine Lee, Kanta Pilipinas finalists graced the event with hair-raising performances singing classic OPM favorites that took everyone's breath away. The same event also launched the www.chefmarvinagustin.com website which will post recipes and other cooking and health tips from Knorr and Chef Marvin. I love the lay-out of the photos and the info making every user of the site engage in healthy and nutritious food.
He attributes his inspiration from cooking from his mom Maria Teresa who taught him the basics. In fact, his soon-to-be-opened and first Filipino family restaurant Maria Teresa is a loving tribute to his mom. I can't wait to check out recipes and use Knorr Sinigang sa Sampaloc Mix, Original Mix, Knorr Cubes, and Ginataang Gulay for Christmas Noche Buena. I still remember how crunchy and tasty that Sigarilyas Gising-Gising was and I will definitely use Knorr Ginataang Gulay. This time I don't need to call my mom for the perfect mix and blend of flavors.
