Who wouldn't love Aiza Seguerra? First in Philippine showbiz to celebrate 25 years, Aiza Seguerra successfully filled Smart Araneta Coliseum and brought the house down with top celebrities from all TV networks last Sept. 28.
Alas, I robbed a seat next to Mommy Caring and Dad watching the beginning of the concert to end. It was the most spectacular event I've ever seen with the whole area filled with audience. It was my first time seeing Smart Araneta Coliseum totally filled with viewers. Even the general admission box at the top was filled and screams began as the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra started playing wearing comfy t-shirts with Gerard Salonga conducting.
Ms. Coney Reyes on video shared her memories as celebrities in front awe at the stage filled with stars like Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, ASAP Sessionistas Kean Cipriano, Richard Poon, Princess Velasco, Juris Fernandez and Krizza Neri filled the coliseum with screams from their fun performances. It was hard to breathe screaming after Aiza tried to introduce Vic Sotto who had no patience and surprised the audience with his comedic greeting , "Hi Pans!" before they sung.
I've cried at moments where songs where just too touching like Mommy Caring. Aiza made me appreciate that the true Filipino artist is the passion she shares to all as a singer. She acknowledged everyone who were part of her 25 years in showbiz. Megastar Sharon Cuneta was also in tears when Aiza sung "Bituing Walang Ningning" and she even joined Aiza on stage to sing the song.
It was a concert that toppled all the concerts I've watched this year. Aiza Seguerra was worth every penny in Smart Araneta Coliseum. She exemplifies the true heart of soulful Filipino music. No wonder those who did not watch wants a repeat of #BenteSingko 25th Anniversary. My deepest gratitude to Media Nation Inc., That's Ntertainment Productions and Blackbird Label for producing a concert that's truly memorable and breath-taking. Bryan Termulo with Mommy Caring even joined with friends from Erase Placenta Soap when we left the coliseum. I love you Aiza and the world loves you. Please continue to sing more songs from your heart and we will continue the patronage.
