Sometimes the cover is better than the original. Noel Cabangon who leaped from nationalistic songs to mainstream pop and turned his first album multi-platinum awards "Byahe and Panaginip" recently released his second album, "Tuloy ang Byahe" at Patio Carlito Restaurant Quezon City last week. Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) proudly presents Noel Cabangon Tuloy ang Byahe Concert on Sept. 28, 2012 at the Music Museum. No wonder the Filipino music icon we knew who sang "Kanlungan" was nationalistic from his roots as a theater actor, composer, teacher at PETA in the early 90s.
Noel continues to support FILSCAP (Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) as president and PETA which will benefit from the proceeds of the concert donating to the PETA Endowment Fund meant to ensure the sustainability of PETA. Together with special guests Christian Bautista, Gloc-9 and other surprise guests, Noel Cabangon's Tuloy ang Byahe Concert on Sept. 28 will be a celebration of the finest OPM compositions as Noel performs his renditions of some of the most loved OPM classics as well as his own.
