Angeline Quinto is a true inspiration more than her songs and her voice. I really thought that after she had gained popularity being the Queen of Teleserye Themesongs and being the voice behind the graduation song of 2012, she'd act with a "star" attitude but I was wrong. Attending Angeline Quinto's pocket media launch of her new album " Fall in Love Again" made me reflect on my own students who have become successful despite the guidance of their real parents last week at One Plate Restaurant in T.Morato Q.C.
When I had the opportunity to ask my own questions about her dreams, she shared how it had evolved from simply wanting to provide for the family to dreams of her own wanting to be a chef. Raised by her grandmother's sister she calls Mama, Angeline Quinto had truly accepted her fate and her mom's prerogative understanding how it is difficult for any young woman not prepared for an unwanted pregnancy. Without any angst, she shared to us her acceptance and the blessings from God she continues to receive each day.
She had completely evolved and improved after winning Star Power. From being an avid fan to singing a duet with her favorite singer, Ms. Regine Velasquez, Angeline Quinto is a star to follow and admired with her bubbly and humble attitude. She was happy enjoying the fruits of her labor with her Mama whom she was able to ride a plane for the first time in Boracay last week.
Every mom would want to have an Angeline Quinto who is always obedient and open to all types of suggestions. She is my mom's dream of a daughter wanting her image to be "simple" and "proper". Honest about her admiration about Coco Martin, Angeline is set to launch her first movie sometime on May.
A true gem of Star Records, Angeline's newest album bagged number one spot of Astroplus' top-selling OPM albums after it was released last March 25. Her latest single, "Bakit Nga Ba Minamahal Kita" is gaining heavy airplay in radio stations nationwide.
Angeline Quinto's latest album features 15 romantic songs including her duet with Regine Velasquez, "Lipad ng Pangarap", Unofficially Yours soundtrack, "If You Asked Me To" with Erik Santos, "Saan Darating ang Umaga" (Budoy OST), "Hanggang" (Walang Hanggan OST), "Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo" (same title drama's OST), "I Just Fall In Love Again" (OST of her upcoming movie with Coco Martin), "Nag-iisang Bituin", "Maghihintay Sa'yo", "Hulog ng Langit", "Ngayon", "You're My Home", "You Light Up My Life" (her mama's favorite song), "Tanging Ikaw" and the acoustic version of "Bakit Minamahal Kita".
We love her not just singing the official theme song of the new campaign of Department of Tourism's "Piliin mo ang Pilipinas" but for being the best model of the youth today-vibrant, talented and optimistic despite struggles in life.
Catch Angeline Quinto visiting the biggest malls nationwide, SM Megamall and SM The Block this Wednesday (April 18) and SM Bacoor on April 21. For a limited time, album buyers will also get free download of Angeline's solo version of the song "If You Asked Me Too" at www.mymusicstore.com.ph.
