The impossible made possible by Smart. I've been curious about Smart's Postpaid All-In Plan after seeing Sharon Cuneta's ad on TV and I wasn't expecting to win an HTC Cha Cha phone in a race that was impossible for me to participate. With my metal implant and limp walking, the compassionate friends from Smart Communications allowed me to join the team of bloggers during the Smart Postpaid Amazing All-Net Race yesterday at Eastwood Central Plaza.
Before the race, we were offered a sumptuous buffet of pasta, dumplings and roastbeef slices merienda by Flying Pig. I was curious how the Smart Postpaid All-In Plan really works and I am thankful to Jayvee Fernandez (www.abuggedlife.com) for enlightening me of what particular Smart All-In Postpaid Plan best to avail. A few chats after, celebrity host and radio DJ, Jelly Victor announced the mechanics of the race and grouped us all in teams. I was called to participate in the blue team with Juan Manila (www.juanmanilaexpress.com), Carlo Valenzona (www.carlovalenzona.com) and Florencio P. Jusay Jr. (www.manualtolyf.info). My team members and the friendly PRs of Smart told me that I need not worry because the boys will just be running the specific tasks of the race for me and I may still be useful during the mental task at the end.
So, while waiting for my team to finish the number of tasks like those designed from the popular TV program, The Amazing Race, I studied the Smart Postpaid All-In Plan not just to be prepared for the mental task but to satisfy my curiosity to get a new postpaid plan.
Moments later, my team members were gasping to the stage arranging the puzzle pieces. I really thought we'd be the last to finish the race since the two teams finished earlier than us (and I had to crawl from the stage to the tables). When the mental task mechanics were announced, I noticed my team members having a difficult time to compute the savings we needed to compare the competitor provider bill. I've tried my best to coach Enzo writing and FPJ calculating using the Smart NetPhone and a few minutes later, we submitted our results to the host.
We've calculated the minutes of local calls to Smart's P3.12/minute and the difference to the competitor's charges and it was really almost half the cost. It was also the same calculating the cost of text messaging charges which at Smart was only at P0.14 per text message. From P7.50/minute to P3.12/minute for local calls and P1.00/per message to P0.14/per message, Smart proves to have the real lowest postpaid call and text charges to all networks.
Minutes after, we were awarded second place with HTC Cha Cha phones each. The first place team was awarded HTC Wildfire phones each and the third place team was also given Smart Netphones each. No blogger was left empty-handed and to this day, I'm shocked to have won a race that seemed impossible for me to accomplish. I'm truly grateful to Smart Communications and my blogger friends who had a big heart of making me participate in this event.
Now I'd be more confident to avail of a Postpaid Plan with Smart's All-In plans because I know it's just going to cost me P3.12/minute on local calls and P0.14 per SMS.
How does it work? Compared to Globe, the first step is to choose what type of plan you can afford to pay every month. Choices are Plan500, Plan800, Plan1200, Plan2500 and Plan3500. Second, select the available free phone for the plan and lastly, select the services that's All-In the plan (P500 for unlimited Smart to Smart calls), (P350 for Unlimited SMS for 30 days), (P1000 for UnliSurf for 30days/P1200 for BBMax/P200/consumable 20hours/30days/P100/8hours/P200/UnliMail, mobile pushmail) and (P200/IDD call at local rates plus 5 mins free). There isn't going to be any more worry about the bills going over the plan because it's designed to be ALL-IN.
What plan are you aiming at?
