You'd want to be with your kids when having a meal at Orchard Road Megamall now that they have Kiddie Meals! Popular not just because of their yummy Ice KaChang and Laksa, Orchard Road recently launched their Kiddie Meals for just P100. Have your kids enjoy authentic Singaporean favorites like their varied Dumplings with rice served with Peach Iced Tea or their delectable Wonton Noodle Soup with Char Siew Asado Pao. Have it your way and choose from different Kiddie Meals served with artistic presentation to make your kids love the taste of Singapore.
What's interesting about Orchard Road's Kiddie Meal launch was their launch of the Playpoint's Eye-Play, an interactive playground system which combines intuitive human motion with interactive floor or wall projection. EyePlay at Orchard Road has more than14 interactive games from music to math problems play varieties which the kids and the kids-at-heart will truly love.
They also have this Teriyaki Chicken with Dumplings served with steamed rice delightfully decorated with peas, carrots and corn to entice your kids to enjoy food like we do.
The event was truly delightful with Asian TV personality and celebrity cook Vivien Tan who, after marrying a Filipino brought the wonderful flavors of Singapore to the Philippines at Orchard Road. Ms. Carol Sy was also there together with other food connoisseurs in the Philippines gracing the event. We were served a delightful set meal of Prawn Noodle Soup, Roast Chicken or Hainanese Chicken with Hainanese Rice, Sago Melaka and Mango Tapioca and Chin Chow or Peach Iced Tea.
It was hard to share food with others after having a bite of their Roast Chicken that's truly tasty and flavorful. Blogger friend Russel had his set of Pohpia and Mee Goreng with Fried Char Siew Pao and he was able to convince us all that Orchard Road's Mee Goreng was the best he ever had. It was not too spicy as those served abroad but the flavors we all missed from Singapore was all there. I'd definitely go back for more of this Mee Goreng now that Orchard Road had all their meals truly affordable and it would definitely be hard to resist their Chin Chow and Milo Dinosaur.
I thought I was too full already after having all those meals until the Sago Melaka and Mango Tapioca came. It was funny reminiscing how we all went so crazy being stingy and not sharing our dessert because they were really so yummy.
I loved the taste of tapioca pearls with shaved ice flavored with coco sugar in my Sago Melaka. Just when I thought Orchard Road served only snacks, lunch and dinner, I saw their wonderful and affordable breakfast meals starting at P115. I am really falling in love with Orchard Road's dishes, from their wide array of choices of dimsums, noodles, satay and teriyaki, curry, mini wok, stir-fry noodles, congee, cut fruits, cold and hot desserts, kopi and teh. They have too many to try and there'd be no single favorite to recommend.
The food and now the playground will make more visits to Orchard Road truly memorable. I really loved the balloon pop and would want to play here again on my next visit to Orchard Road.
