Event: Orchard Road launches Dining Pass

Experience Singapore in the Philippines and more! I've just attended the Orchard Road's Dining Pass launch with fellow bloggers last Tuesday and it gave me more reasons to enjoy culinary adventures without having to pay for expensive airfares.
If you've learned to love the Hainanese Chicken Rice (P165), you'd fall in love with more of Orchard Road's dishes like their mouth-watering Laksa (P175)- a stew made of rice noodles in coconut milk, seafood, meat with a twist of lemongrass and chili pepper. Truly flavorful you'd want to just eat and forget who you're with.
We had a sampling of all the ten dishes featured in the Dining Pass offered at Orchard Road from August to September. The said Dining Pass which will give you a gift voucher worth P200 (redeemable within one year), features also Orchard Road's signature dishes like Singaporean Fried Chicken, Red Ruby, Sago Gula Melaka, Char Kway Teow, Chicken Curry Rice or Noodles, Roti Pratha with Kopi or Teh Tarik, Satay Chicken, Char Siew Rice or Noodles, and Mee Goreng, all priced below P200.
What's best about this restaurant located at the 2nd floor of SM Megamall Bridgeway is that the dishes are prepared fresh before you. Their kitchen is open (see-through windows)  and the ambiance will remind you of the streets of Singapore where most diners enjoy dishes made fresh.
Like the popular food bloggers present during the event, I really enjoyed Orchard Road's Milo Dinosaur and Teh Tarik.
Orchard Road's Milo Dinosaur reminded me of my childhood consuming the powdered chocolate drink before dissolving them in cold water. Their Teh Tarik was also comforting with the perfect blend of tea and condensed milk.
My food find for that day was this Rose Water Juice ordered by Jonel. I couldn't help thinking how rose petals would taste so I had a sip or two and I was really surprised to have enjoyed it. It really tasted like rose reminding me of the book, "Like Water For Chocolates" back in college.
It was a hearty and savory dinner spent with friends and bloggers that I will never forget. What I really loved about the experience is knowing that I won't have to spend a fortune just to go on a Singapore food trip because Orchard Road prepares Singapore hawker-inspired dishes conveniently located in SM Megamall
Get your Dining Pass and share the Singapore Food Trip with your family and friends. Purchase any of the 10 featured dishes and earn one stamp on your dining pass. For every five stamps, the pass holder will receive a P200 gift voucher, valid for one year. This is one food trip that'll give you freebies and authentic Singapore flavors without the burden on your budget.
