Event: Call for OPM's support continues with Avida Towers Centera 2 launch and Tunog Natin second leg

The call for support for OPM continued with Tunog Natin 2nd leg free concert last Saturday at the launch of Avida Towers Centera 2. “Tunog Natin!” is a series of free concerts, presented by Avida Land Corp., featuring an all-OPM repertoire. The first “Tunog Natin!” concert, held at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, was such a huge success that it inspired more artists and OPM supporters to participate in the second concert. Held at the second tower of Avida Towers Centera, Avida's latest condominium offering along EDSA corner Reliance St. in Mandaluyong City, the second Tunog Natin concert featured rock legend, The Dawn; pop rock artist Tanya Markova; pop quartet Kiss Jane; pop and RnB artist Myrus; acoustic prince Davey Langit; balladeer Faith Cuneta; True Faith; OPM President, Mitch Valdez; Kitchie Nadal; Barbie Almalbis and singer-songwriter actress Aiza Seguerra.
Mitch Valdez gave hilarious renditions imitating several popular OPM artists and shared some trivia about the history of OPM through the years.
It was a night rekindling the love for Original Pilipino Music with event presenter Avida Land Inc., in full support of the show. “The success of the first “Tunog Natin!” concert proves that Filipino audiences have not totally abandoned OPM. We need to focus our efforts into putting more OPM ‘out there’ where audiences are able to hear and enjoy it,” explains Tess Tatco, Avida Land Marketing Manager.
“Tunog Natin!” was not only a great time for reminiscing over classic favorites, it’s also our chance to watch the next generation of performers take OPM into new heights and thrilling dimensions.
