Event: Penshoppe has arrived!

Sleek, crisp lines and understated, stylish hues highlighted PENSHOPPE’s "Arrivalist" fashion show for their Spring/Summer Collection 2011 at the Philippine Fashion Week last night. The fashion show made me want to binge on shopping before Christmas as the clothes are inspired by the natural and effortless chic of France’s fashion and lifestyle, a sartorial selection of blacks, grays, and whites seamlessly merged with subdued purples, teals, greens, and creams – creating the fashion brand’s definition of high fashion sensibilities this season. 
 From London high streets to the fabulous city of Paris, the clothes collection of Penshoppe for Spring/Summer 2011 has arrived. The catwalk seemed simple but the technology of Sony's 3D made "walking on satin sheets" truly possible dazzled more importantly by the punctuation of blazers, slim jackets and playful skirts that highlights the collection.
PENSHOPPE’s 2011 Summer collection showed the Filipino that the brand is much more than tees and jeans. With its wide range of designs that can be mixed, matched and layered, PENSHOPPE has definitely upped the ante in summerwear. From last year’s ReVision to the merry month of May’s Elevation, PENSHOPPE had inevitably arrived.
The event featured the fashion show and an after party which was highlighted by a film showing of the models wearing the Spring/Summer 2011 Collection
“Every season is an opportunity to make a fashion statement,” says Alex Mendoza, PENSHOPPE’s brand director. I don't really follow fashion trends prescribed by any brand but this Spring/Summer 2010 Collection  may be in my closet not just that it is very reminiscent of high-fashion France but because I love the earth and nature colors that makes me look simple. For men, there are sleek tailor-fitted blazers, plaid long-sleeved shirts, and rugged jackets that add to the most casual look. For women, there are asymmetrical tops and subtly elegant dresses – the caliber of which are comparable to international haute couture brands.
I know I can't be this skinny but I would not just want to buy this and put them in my closet, I'd definitely wear them because of its simple and casual look with that message that says, "take me seriously".

Now, that is fashion and that is more than a fashion statement for all to reflect.

Through the years, its network has expanded to 300 sites, all strategically located in the country’s key shopping areas.
Penshoppe further crossed barriers in 2002 by launching the brand in Xiamen, China extending its brand-building expertise beyond the national borders
