Event: Jollibee sponsors Online Writing Contest at QC Division Secondary Schools Press Conference!

I am a Campus Journalist. I am Young. I am Pinoy. I Yum.
Nationalism should be instilled in the hearts of the youth and Jollibee did by sponsoring the Online Writing Contest at the QC Division Secondary Schools Press Conference held last Oct.6, 7 and 8, 2010 at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral School.
Participated by more than 1,600 campus journalists from public and private high schools in Quezon City, Jollibee sponsored snacks for two days and raised awareness in nationalism of the student writers conducting the Online Writing Contest judged by Mr. Arpee Lazaro of http://www.arpeelazaro.com.
Themed, "I am Young, I am Pinoy, I Yum" from the latest campaign of Jollibee, the Online Writing Contest winners were in English, Louise Nicole Robinson, Ma. Jezia Talavera, Alyana Jane Zarate, Michael Navarro and Antholi Kevi Oriam and in Filipino, Larry Castaneda, Mariel Lyka Co, Emmanuel De Leon, Amante Castaneda and Thessaly Dalisay.
The participants of the said contest learned online writing tips and techniques and most importantly, reflection on their own thoughts about loving the country with Jollibee Yumburger

There is an NSPC online writing competition? Will the winners in the RSSPC be the representatives for the national competition?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yes, there was last years, we can't tell if they'll hold it again this year. The winners of the RSSPC cannot guarantee a slot as a representative for the national competition because they don't seem to plan an online writing competition at the regional level. We held it at the Division only.Good luck to you.
