Las Pinas Boys Choir serenaded the guests with Christmas songs that set the mood for all to feel the start of 100 days of Christmas. Each region was presented with models greeting in different languages of the towns with introduction of dishes competing for the said Christmas Food Celebration of Kraft Eden Cheese.
Who would've thought I'd bump into a former student of Lagro High School being a model of Tagum City, Davao City? I was too fascinated with the competing dishes I didn't realize the batch of Special Program in the Arts graduates last year was dancing the production numbers until they all smiled at me and waved when Ms. Dimples Romana interviewed me during the event.
Mr. Alex Dan Tacderas, Marketing Manager of Kraft Foods Philippines inspired us all with another parable to further motivate the public to strive to achieve goals beyond imagination. "We believe in the natural talent and healthy competitiveness of Filipinos in making nutritious, delicious and affordable meals especially during this Christmas season," Tacderas added.
Guests were given a sample of the dishes infused/inspired by Kraft Eden cheese with such awesome cheese sculpture display like this of Mama Mary created by the chefs of MIHCA (Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts).
I have always thought of Christmas when I see food served only on Christmas and this 100 days of Christmas Food Celebration will definitely make every single day starting yesterday a joyous feastful Christmas celebration.
I'm already anticipating on the taste of the dish served in my town, Lemery, Batangas - Ala Eh Appetizer. Like me, you can support your town to win 2M and 100,000 for the chef who created the dish by simply sending a Kraft Eden Cheese carton and be counted.
