Caterpillar became the inspiration of the grand winner of the Greenwich Essay Writing Competition, Marjorie Inigo of Krus na Ligas High School answering the question on what three things she wanted to "level-up" .
Among 76 participants from public and private high schools, the campus journalist from Krus na Ligas High School emerged as the grand winner of the Greenwich Essay Writing Competition held at San Francisco High School last September 18.
"Climbing up to the Top" was the piece Marjorie Inigo of Krus na Ligas High School brought her to win the grand prize on the said competition along four other winners (runner-ups), Donna Cris Capili of Don Alejandro Roces Sr. Science and Technology HS, Isabelle Frances Raymundo of St. Patrick School of Novaliches, Juan Pablo Doroja of Quezon City HS and Angel Cinco Rabe of New Era University. Other special prizes were given to best handwriting and early bird participants who were given gift certificates from Greenwich.
Our deepest gratitude to the Level-Up Pinoy campaign of Greenwich with Ms. Lulu, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Jayvee, Ms. Jenny and Ms. Sarah of Stratworks for inspiring our budding campus journalists to excel in writing and help uplift the confidence of students about their outlook in life and being a Filipino.
Thank you very much Greenwich!
