Event: Chowking's Tikman ang Tagumpay

Chowking recognizes the inspiring, driven and hard-working Filipinos with their five outstanding outstanding personalities:Jericho Rosales, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, Bea Alonzo, and CNN Hero of the Year Efren Penaflorida Jr.
With their new mantra, "Tikman ang Tagumpay" will surely inspire the Filipinos to strive hard to succeed regardless of difficulties, like those experienced by the said personalities.
As a continuation of its 25th year anniversary celebration, Chowking, the leading Chinese quick-service restaurant in the country launched its new delectable dish at most affordable price, Tender Beef Broccoli, choice beef slices in rich oyster sauce topped with freshly-cooked broccoli at just P99 with a drink, or P125 as a lauriat with pancit canton, chicharap, fried dumpling, buchi, plain rice and a drink

Hosted by Christine Bersola-Babao, the success advocates/product endorsers shared their life stories of difficulties and trials in life, dreams and hopes in the future with the media yesterday at Plaza Ibarra, Quezon City. I couldn't help but cry at Jericho Rosales' anecdotes on how he transferred to six public schools helping his mother sell fish in different markets in Metro Manila. CNN Hero of the Year 2009, Efren Penaflorida Jr., Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson also shared their own experiences and how they rose from nobody to being successful in life.
The belief that the Filipino can rise out of every storm in life to better motivate those in the same struggle is what Chowking advocates to share in their new TV Commercial.

And, considering the hype and frenzy over the mistakes and weaknesses of our fellow media and police officers on the recent hostage-drama, this is one advocacy to veer out the negative discussions and focus on success and hard work.
Congratulations Chowking on your 25th year of serving affordable and delicious Pinoy dishes!

    Please look into this.

An hour ago, we dined (supposed to be) at Chowking Upper Session Road.
I first notice that the stores spoon and fork is very greasy, meron pong visible na namuong mantika. I complained the store for greasy glasses before. So instead of using the stores spoon and fork, I asked for disposable spoon and fork instead.

When our order arrived, I again noticed solid grease on my bowl's rim. I was so hungry that time so I just wiped it out with tissue. When I stared eating, the vegetables were too cold! Very disappointed, I approach the manager, I showed my order, complained about the cold vegetable, and I also had the chance to complain about the solid grease, already wiped it, pero meron pa ring solid na mantika sa gilid ng bowl, I even took picture of it.

Very disappointed, we left the store without getting our order back, we didnt eat anything.

Before we left, I approach again the Manager and asked for the store code, the Manager gave us store code 1586, when I texted the number to complain, the store code was for Batangas branch. So I came back again to ask for the store code of Baguio Upper Session Road, the manager refused.

I will never go back to this store again.
