Event: QC observes Independence Day

June 12, 2010.A day to commemorate freedom. A day to reflect on freedom from poverty.
Congressman-elect Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr with Mayor-elect Vice Mayor Herbert "Bistek" Bautista and other Quezon City Heads and Administrators led the flag raising ceremonies today at the Quezon City Hall Sunken Garden to observe the Philippine Independence Day.

With Officer-in-Charge of the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Rowena Cacanindin, QC Councilors and School Heads, Supervisors and QC officials, the flag raising ceremony included performances of the PETA Performing Arts,QC Teachers Chorale and other schools' dance groups.
Mayor Belmonte applauded the participation of the QC Muslim Consultative Council and other workers in the city's projects and plans to help improve the livelihood of fellow QC constituents.
Required of Master Teachers in QC to attend, I took the courage to shoot pictures of my favorite personalities in this event.
Thank you Congressman-elect Mayor Belmonte, Mayor-elect Vice Mayor Herbert Bautista and Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Rowena Cacanindin for a truly heartfelt Independence Day!
