School Event: Day 1 - QCSSPAA holds training in Teachers Camp Baguio City

Left Manila at 10am via Victory Liner (P435/pax), we arrived at Recto Hall Teachers Camp at exactly 5pm. Cho-u and I traveled with Anna Marie Celeridad (SPA of Judge Juan Luna HS) who was with her niece Aiko Sumandi and my godchild, Issa, Gloria Cruz (SPA of Masambong HS) for the 2010 School Paper Advisers' Annual Summer Training. 50 school paper advisers signed up last March for the summer training but only 32 people attended. We started capturing the beauty of Teacher's Camp before dinner.
We were told that anyone who wants a summer adventure in Baguio can get cheap rates of P176/pax in Recto Hall per night and Gloria was so excited to realize the meal package at Teachers Camp is at P550 (3 meals and 2 snacks), so we headed to the Mess Hall(Albert Hall) to sample the dinner at 6pm.
The waiters were courteous and friendly explaining the main dishes (pork mechado and pinakbet) and the sweet and creamy milk pinipig crunch.
The pork mechado was so delicious and the pinakbet was so crunchy that most of us took a second serving. They also served ginisang munggo.
After dinner we went to another hall at the back of the Mess Hall for the training.
As officer of the Quezon City Secondary School Paper Advisers Association, I was tasked to introduce speakers, Mrs. Eloisa Lindo (SPA from Quirino HS) and Manuel Zacarias (SPA of New Era HS/President of NCRSSPAA). Dr. Vicky Fuentes (QC Schools Division Superintendent)and Dr. Ligaya A. Regis(Division Supervisor in Journalism and Private Schools) headed the event.
At 11pm, we were so tired and hit the sack to prepare for the next day's event.
